Gospel For Today Beliefs
Christians believe many things about
the gospel of Jesus Christ and about the Bible. Gospel For Today
Ministries believes that the benefits of the cross of Jesus Christ
extend to all mankind and will be testified to in due time (1

In Christ Alone
Man's salvation is in Christ alone, in Jesus plus
nothing. Gospel for Today Ministries has not wavered from that
belief since day one of this ministry. However, since Marcy and I
have come to believe that God will have all men to be saved, we have
been accused us of continuing to preach the cross of Christ but of
now leaving out the significance of His resurrection. |

God's Amazing Grace
Amazing grace is not amazing grace if God only
saves a wretch like me. Amazing grace is amazing grace only if God
saves all mankind through the death, burial, and resurrection
of Jesus Christ, whether men have faith in God or not. Now that is
amazing grace! |

Who
Is Responsible For The Death Of Jesus Christ?
Much
has been said lately concerning Mel Gibson’s movie, The Passion of
the Christ. It seems like it has brought to the surface a lot of the
deep-seated anger, resentment, animosity, and blame that men have toward
one another concerning who was to blame for the death of Jesus Christ.

Did God draw you to

Who
Do You Say That He Is?
Marcy and I hope that you will
consider what we now believe to be the very core message of the
cross of Jesus Christ and that is that God will eventually save all
men (1 Timothy 2:4-6). |

Saved
By His Life!
By
grace, and through the gift of faith, some are "saved" now in
this life. This is all of God's choosing and doing. It is according to
His will and for His ultimate glory. In the same way that He has blinded
the Jews as a nation as to their Messiah but will eventually save them
all, He is doing the same with the nations today. |

God's
Grace And Love Will Overwhelm All Men!
How many dear people do you think are out there, even in our
church-saturated America, who have never heard the gospel of grace
nor that God loves and will save all mankind? The only god they have
been introduced to is either too weak to save His creation or
chooses not to. |

What
Do Calvinists, Arminianists, and Christian Universalists Believe?
The
Calvinist God has the ability and power to save all mankind but refuses
to do so. The
Christian Universalist God has the power, the ability, and the desire to
save all mankind and will do so. The
Arminian God would like to save all mankind but does not have the power
and ability to do so. |

What
Religion Teaches About The Gospel
The Christian religion teaches a different gospel than what the
scriptures teach. Instead of God being the Savior of all men,
He has been reduced to a limited Savior of but a few whose death,
burial, and resurrection serves to justify, redeem, forgive,
reconcile, and give only some new life. |

The
Lamb of God
The cross did more
than just bridge the “sin” gap – Christ removed it. That’s
right. Jesus Christ has eliminated, removed, and annihilated any
separation between God and man. There is no need for a bridge. Why?
Because there is no longer any separation!

The
Mercy of God
There is none righteous,
none who does good, none who seeks for God, all have gone astray,
all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, all are dead
in trespasses and sins, and so all men are in desperate need of the
mercy of God. The good news of the gospel is that whether we realize
it, believe it, appreciate it, or not, we have already received
mercy from Him through the cross of Jesus Christ. |

What Does It
Mean To Fall From Grace?
Let me reassure you
that falling from grace does not mean that we lose our righteousness
before God, for “if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of
works, otherwise grace is no longer grace” (Romans 11:6). To say that
God’s grace can be taken away from you, or forfeited by you through
your actions and deeds, is to contradict the very definition of the
word. Grace is no longer grace if it is initially attained, or
perpetually kept, through our performance. The apostle Paul taught that
it was impossible for those in Christ to lose their salvation (Romans
8:38-39), going so far as to say that nothing present or anything to
come could separate us from His love.

Saved From Religion
Friends, the
Scriptures tell us that through the person and work of Jesus Christ we
have been saved from many, many things. He has rescued us from our sins
(Matthew 1:21), from perishing (Matthew 8:25), from this perverse
generation (Acts 2:40), from the wrath of God (Romans 5:9), and from
death (Romans 6:23). Amen to that! However, there is something else He
has delivered us from as well that seems to have gone unnoticed and
unrealized by many for centuries and that is our deliverance from
“religion.”

The Power of God
Want to see some real power? Then look no
further than the cross of Jesus Christ. Don’t look forward in
anticipation of something God is going to do. First and foremost, look
back at what He has done. The word, the message, the testimony of the
cross IS the power of God. |

The
Gospel Of Peace
Over and over again
Paul proclaims to his audiences the good news of the peace that they now
have in Christ because of the grace of God. Grace to you and peace
from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:2).
Letter after letter, message after message, Paul insists on reminding
the saints of the peace that is theirs. Make note that it is God’s grace
that brings about the peace. No grace, no peace.
